Apologies for the late notice, but reviewing the weather forecasts and conferring with the other leaders, we are cancelling tonight's Troop and committee meetings. We are erring on the side of caution, and will follow up on planning for this weekend's campout. Please be safe.
The troop is going to participate in the 20km Carpe Adventure Trek (CAT) on Saturday, 10 March 2018. Details are in the attached flyer.
If your son would like to participate, please have him bring the signed permission slip (attached) and check for $15 (made out to Troop 301) to the Monday 19 Feb meeting. If your son would like to hike but cannot attend Monday's meeting, please email me.
To ensure that the Scouts are prepared for the CAT hike (akin to walking a half-marathon), we will have a 10-mile shakedown hike on Sunday 4 March (leaving St. Mary's at 7:30AM). Details on the shakedown hike to follow.
